Hi There! I’m Christopher Doré
You can call me Chris.
Talking about myself....awkward...
I would describe myself as entrepreneurial, a minimalist, and a passionate educator, who focuses on contributing to the lives of others through my passion for coaching, technology, education and social capital.
I have over a whole bunch of years of private sector experience in various key business roles and spent a bunch of time in Asia, mostly in South Korea.
These days, when I am not teaching in the best Algonquin College program, Business Management and Entrepreneurship (BME) I am working on making the world a better place as Founder of Lead+Change, a leadership/coaching consultancy that focuses on positive change through authentic leadership.
I completed my Master’s of Entrepreneurship in 2019, from the Technology Innovation Management Master's Program at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
I firmly believe you should never stop learning. A future educational goal is to complete a Phd in Leadership or Applied AI. Once my partner finishes her education.
Currently focused on Brazilian jiu-jitsu, developing leadership skills in myself and others, improving my coding ability, and learning more about applied artificial intelligence.
I like taking on projects that inspire me and that I believe will have an impact on people. That being said, I am currently working on a podcast and a book that I think will.
I spend my best time with my dynamic partner and my two amazing children.

Creating
I find my purpose through creating. I love taking on projects and activities that have an impact or make things a bit better.
These days, I spend my creative energy on three specific initiatives.
A leadership coaching and consultancy agency Lead+Change
A podcast called "How to Change the World" launching soon.
A technology company, in stealth mode.
Teaching
Teaching is in my blood and I often am grateful that I have this vocation. When I teach, my goal is not only to educate but to create better humans. I believe I make a difference in the world by teaching.
I get pumped teaching Entrepreneurship and Innovation as well as Emerging Technology for Business.
I enjoy challenging students to be better, and to think creatively as well as critically.

I lived in Asia for a couple of years. During that time I gained a much greater appreciation for other cultures. I learned smiles are universal.
I love to read and write.
I don't drink alcohol.
I meditate daily and use the Calm app.
I love to exercise and enjoy weight training, running and martial arts.
